The company is coming, the company is coming!

Maddie is so excited for the arrival of guests that everything we do today is in honor of the company coming! "Gotta brush my teeth really well today because the company is coming!" Which makes me wonder how she brushes them on "normal" days. "... We must re-landscape the front yard right away, because the company is coming" This consisted of Maddie raking about 4 feet of our front yard. "...Mom, we have to make double chocolate chip cookies today because company is coming!" Nice try little girl... good thing we're out of brown sugar or mom may have fallen for this one! And my all time favorite of the day thus far: "We must put powder on my brothers bum, he can't be stinky for when company comes." Hee Hee

Colson's Four Months Old Today!

Well, its been an exciting four months, but the little guy has been flourishing! He's been eating baby food in addition to his bottles for almost a month now, and we've only had one bad reaction to green beans! His favorites seem to be pears & raspberry combo, oatmeal & peach combo and of course, his "baa baa" (bottle). He has his 4 month Dr appt scheduled for next week.
We're all getting ready for the arrival of family this week! Meghan's parents, sister and nephew arrive tomorrow, and Brion's parents arrive on Wednesday. All in preparation for Colson's baptism on July 28th. Now all we need is the sun to come back!
