Trip to the farm

I took the kids to Remlinger Farms yesterday and enjoyed the scenic drive. It's been in the 80's-90's for the last few days, so the sun was out and shining. We had a great time, bought our Bread and Butter pickles there, and toured the grounds. I took the picture of Maddie and Colson, and Maddie took the picture of Colson and I near the rooster.

Busy as a bee...

We've been very busy around here lately. And as proof, Maddie decided to dress up in her bee costume. She buzzed around all afternoon in it.

Maddie has really taken to drawing, coloring and artwork in general. Here are some pictures of her working on her project. She spends at least 1 hour a day, at a minimum, on some sort of art project.

Rattlesnake Ledge Hike

Here are some pictures from our great hike to Rattlesnake Ledge! Maddie did the entire hike herself, except for the 100 steps that daddy carried her for. Colson loved the ride and mamma loved the exercise! Check out the views! And as usual, if everyone makes it to the top, they get to eat a candy bar! (poor Colson got some baby snacks, and mama ate a Weight Watcher bar.
