Wahoo, Friday!

Yesterday was a parents favorite day, NOT! Cole had his 6 month doctor appt where he received 3 vaccinations. Unlike Maddie who never cried during hers, he made it known that he didn't like getting them. Poor guy. At least he got a good nights sleep last night with a little help from Tylenol. Brion's car got broken into yesterday in Downtown Seattle, "relieving" us of his expensive sunglasses, Ipod, cell phone charger and all the change he had in his car. They left the car a total mess and left us quite angry.

Maddie is excited because Friday is a no-school day. I've asked her teacher to give me the homework for the two days of school each week that she misses, so Maddie completed her homework for today, last night! What a good student! And today we have a play date with Dane and we're off to see the running of the Salmon. There's a large creek near our house where the annual run of Coho, Chinook and Silverback Salmon run, so its fun to see those huge fish flippin and floppin while trying to swim upstream. Here's to hoping for a better day today-by the way, Brion took the bus into Downtown today.

Colson's 6 months old!

Colson turned 6 months old on Sunday and a lot of developmental newbies have occurred! He loves to scoot scoot and whenever he's on his back, he rolls quickly over to his tummy, looks up and smiles. Then he cries because he's on his tummy and can't roll back. He's also started to scoot forward to get to toys... it won't be long until he's crawling! He has his 6 month doctor appt today which means vaccinations-yuck. But we're very curious to see his height and weight as where ever we go, people comment on how huge he is for his age.

La Jolla Trip

We had a wonderful trip to Southern California this past week. The weather was perfect and it was great fun to see all of the relatives. We even managed to get to the Wild Animal Park, the beach and SeaWorld! We had a party for Grandma's birthday and got to visit some yummy restaurants! Especially In-N-Out Burger- our favorite!!!
