Bath Remodel - Day 2

Well, I'm just getting ready to get back to the final demo. Before I do I'll post some pics of the delivery we got from Lowe's today. Now all I have to do is get all of that out of my garage and into the bathroom - in the next 19 days. Um, Ok, yeah - I better get back to work...





Well, end of day 2. Wasn't able to do a lot today - just finished the demo and vacuumed up all the dust and debris from the room.


6 bags of insulation came out of that tiny bathroom!

Tomorrow I'm going to a tiling class at Home Depot. My goal for tomorrow is to get the floor completely prepped for the slate tile. After that, the new insulation goes in and then the drywall starts going back up. If all the drywall and backerboard is up by Sunday night I'll be one happy camper!

Bath Remodel - Day 1

Hi All - Brion here. Yesterday was the first full day of the remodeling of our guest bathroom. I'm going to take the room down to the studs, leaving only the tub and the ceiling. Day 1 went pretty smoothly and I got the big pieces of demolition done - now all the little stuff (probably another evening's worth of work) to do Friday after work.
