Yippee... Colson turned 11 months old and is getting to be such a big boy! He is crawling like crazy, pulling himself up on everything, and jabbering away. He knows a lot of words including mama, dada, good girl (he says this to the dogs), ball, hot, papa,grandma and grandpa. He also has started signing for "more".
He's eating tons! Seems like I'm always feeding him and loves to munch on Cheerio's, Kix and baby biscuits from PCC. Because of his allergies, his baby biscuits are non-dairy and non-soy and don't smell very good to us, but he seems to really like them. Good thing!
In about a month, he'll start school at Maddie's school and is very excited. He's met some of his soon-to-be classmates and loves to play with the toys at school. Mom on the other hand is sad to see him ready to go back to school, but work awaits.
I started my new job a few weeks back and am loving it thus far. I'm working Tues-Thurs for a super family-friendly company and get to work from home. It's a great commute! :)
Grandma and Grandpa Newell just left us after a short visit this past weekend. We loved having them here and were sad to see them go.
Maddie started swimming lessons again, and continues to go to ski lesson's on Saturdays. She hasn't been in a while since the mountain pass leading to the mountain she takes her lesson's on have been closed due to snowfall. This weekend she'll be back shushing away.
Uncle Kevin has decided to accept a position back in Minnesota and will be leaving Seattle in about a month. We are sad to see him go, but know that he is excited about this new adventure.
Lilo is growing up, slowly but surely... she's 10 months old now. And Lucy is still getting used to the idea of having a little sister. They fight a lot, but love each other nonetheless.
