Hello all... my friend Sherri in Mn convinced me that a blog was a great way to keep everyone updated on our happenings. I hope you enjoy!
July will be a month filled with adventure! Baby boy will be getting baptized, and the family will be coming in from Kansas and Minnesota to help us celebrate. Can you believe that he's 3 1/2 months old already? He's been loving solid foods, and has graduated to level 2 food this past week. So far, no other allergies have popped up! We're keeping our fingers crossed on this one! He's really getting big!
Our little princess has been taking swimming lessons and has worked to "fine tune" those skills at Uncle Kev's apartment pool. She's been a huge help with the baby and loves giving him kisses and hugs. He smiles at her all the time! She's been doing very well at school and will get to move up to the big kids class in Sept. She's very excited about this!
The family went to an Everett Aquasocks minor league baseball game yesterday and had a blast! It was mascot day, so princess LOVED meeting and hugging them. And also loved the fact that many free things were given out - especially her cow t-shirt that says "Milk Rocks" and her Aquasocks bobblehead. We will definitely be going back for another game!

And our little darling has turned into a ryhme machine. Give her a word and she starts coming up with rhymes for it. She'll give herself a word and come up with rhymes for it - sometimes she makes up words to rhyme and we have to remind her that it's not a real word...
So, you knew it was bound to happen...
Dad: "Hey Kiddo! Look! A duck!"
Kiddo: "Duck and F*^%" she said proudly...
Mom and Dad: "NOOOOOO! That's a very bad word!"
Kiddo: [almost in tears that her made up word didn't work out so well]
Mom and Dad: "It's OK kiddo, those do rhyme, it's just that that's a very bad word..."
Ah, the funny things kids do... at least she didn't do it at the grocery store or some public place... :-)
Yeah, you did it! Welcome to the "blog" world!
