Sad Day

Today is a very sad day in our household. As most of you know, our dog Arlo has been struggling with kidney failure, and since November, we've been fighting his ailments to the best of our abilities. But over the past week, his condition worsened, and today he took his journey to heaven. Brion first adopted Arlo at 6 weeks of age from the pound. The two of them had gone through journey after journey, including moves to and from Kansas, New York, California and Seattle. Through all of these changes, Arlo was the best, more obedient dog ever, and he will be missed greatly. Arlo is survived by Lucy, and we're hoping that she will learn to live without her brother in a healthy way. It's been hours since Arlo's passing, and she's sticking to me like glue-I'm sure she's grieving in her own way.
